See It: The Community being helped

The Center for Urban about Sustainable Agriculture is proud to launch it's new Waste Wise Farmers Market. In an effort green the market, we're introducing custom-made Waste Wise stations and informational displays. To ensure every can, plate, fork and crumb makes it to the right place, we'll need a team of volunteer monitors each week. As a Waste Wise station monitor, not only will you help divert tons of resources from a landfill, you'll also help educate thousands of shoppers about being waste wise-- without getting dirty! We need volunteers every Tuesday from 9:30-2 beginning April 22nd, and every Saturday from 7:30-2 beginning April 26th. This opportunity is perfect for both individuals and groups of all ages. Each day will begin with a half hour training and refreshments.
