This summer, eager to chart new territory with this group, I began to think about what I could do to affect change in my community, myself and my friends. My initial thought was, "There are just so many causes out there to be involved in, so many desperate needs begging to be met, so much brokenness that needs healing, so many people that need help ... we need a way to make the seemingly insurmountable mountain of needs more accessible." And that is how My Verb is: Serve's "Do One Thing" Benefit Concert was born.
