A hero on and off the silver screen, Paul Newman was a dedicated philanthropist who truly changed the film industry. Newman died on Saturday at the age of 83 after fighting a long battle with Cancer.

Oprah Winfrey trumps them all! Parade Magazine just released a list of the 30 most generous celebrities, and guess who topped the list but Mommah Winfrey herself with a whopping $50.2 million donated in 2007. Her money was given through The Oprah Winfrey Foundation and Oprah's Angel Network for education, health care, and women's/children's rights.
