we are just starting this program in our english class after reading "my forbidden face". we are raising money for the rawa project in afganistan so that they can help their women live. we are also raising money for the children in afganistan for them to be able to go to school and be educated. we are sending out the money at the end of the school year. we hope that this will be a success and more schools will get involved. our goal is to reach 5,000 dollars. if there is anyway that you would like to help contact nancy scofield at the district70.org website. thank you.
