Last night, celebrities ascended on the red carpet and participated in the Do Something Awards, which has been called "the Oscars for young people in service" by CNN. The organization was started in 1993 by Andrew Shue, one of the stars of the original Melrose Place.
The big winner last night was 23-year-old Jessica Posner, who walked away with an award of $100,000.
Twilight actors Kellan Lutz and BooBoo Stewart recently attended the Do Something Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium last July 19, 2010. Kellan received the Do Something Award For Animals.
