Lillian Vandemark

Lillian’s 7th grade Leadership Class’ goal is to create more cultural awareness, so she and her class planned a Cinco de Mayo Celebration for her community, which is 75% Caucasian. The celebration provided a fun and relaxing day of learning about a different culture.

Linda Salinas

Linda organized Arts as a Vision for Change as a means to combat the high crime rate and increasing violence between students at Richmond High. The students have created a mural that encouraged group effort and crossing ethnic backgrounds for the benefit of the school.
