Last Wednesday, celebs rolled up in hybrid cars to walk down the green carpet in eco-friendly frocks for the 18th Annual Environmental Media Awards in LA. The EMA awards seek to reward those in the entertainment industry who "convey environmental messages in the most creative and influential ways," according to their website.

Another error in the green movement: Diapers

In an effort to reduce the 50 million disposable diapers that enter landfills every day, green gurus have touted reusable diapers as more environmentally friendly than disposables, but a government report out of Great Britain may have found the opposite.

The findings reveal that old-fashioned reusable nappies damage the environment more than disposables. Sources say that embarrassed officials have tried to hush the revelation.
