The world is constantly bombarded by so much negativity. Everyday we see violence, hatred, cruelty, discrimination and all types of other evils. This is a clear indication that the world is lacking the LOVE of Christ. Thus it is up to us to implement LOVE corporately and as individuals in or everyday lives!

Manitoba is home of the greatest, world-class wilderness in the world, including the East Shore Wilderness Area, the largest intact forest North of the equator. Where most of the world's forests have been reduced to mere slivers of intact growth through industrial resource extraction, Manitoba is the exception. Its a place where someone can still be over a hundred miles from the nearest concrete road and drink water strait from thousands of pristine, undeveloped lakes, though it sits a mere hour's drive away from a huge population center.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim community is one that has been persecuted ever since it came into existance. In Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Indonesia they are being bullied by government to be called non-Muslim and their books, mosques, and affiliates are persecuted to a very large extent. In Pakistan the Ahmadi Muslims have "non Muslim" stamps on their passports which prevent them from preforming the Pilgrimage to Mecca-one of the 5 pillars of Islam.

Due to the astonishing progress since the 1994 genocide, Rwanda has become a model of post-conflict reconstruction and reconciliation on the African continent. Despite this hopeful progress, Rwanda still faces major obstacles on its path toward development. 57% of Rwandans live below the poverty line. During the genocide, an entire generation of educated teachers, doctors, and professionals was killed and today, 67% of all Rwandans are under twenty-five years of age. Only 1% of Rwandans attend university, and less than 1/3 of higher education students are female.

I was already selected as a finalist for the 2009 Do Something Awards, but did not receive a grant. My project posting and goal I am trying to solve are already posted on your website, as are many comments from the public in support of my project and how it's helped children, here: http://www.dosomething.org/project/international-buddy-boobys-birthmark-read-along-tolerance-and-awareness

We address the need for early science education for girls as well as other womens' issues. We feel that girls embrace science and math education best when not placed in an environment that includes males. This project is directed atempowering girls to succeed in fields that are still dominated by males.
