Students in Future Business Leaders of America from Yuma High School will help host the event. There will be dancing, a Prom Committee, and even games. It’s a night for the senior adults to reminisce on their own high school prom.

Dance with ICC

We are an informal organization with a mission to endeavor in multi-cultural events promoting Indonesian arts and language amongst our members, and the general Delaware public. We are a diverse non-racial and non-religious club, open to any individuals who would like to have fun and gain a richer understanding of our culture. So come and join us! We are currently looking for volunteers to help us on our upcoming show in August. We are in need of young energetic people who would like to learn new things, make new friends, perform or just help us set-up the stage. It's a fun summer project.

Boys and Girls Club Youth Ballet Class

This program gives children at the Boys and Girls Club an opportunity to learn about ballet and the cultural aspects associated with it. Most of these children have parents who work and thus are unable to immerse themselves culturally. Kids of all ages can come and take a ballet class from 3:30 to 4:30 every Tuesday. Most weeks, there is a classical ballet class that begins with stretching and ends with a creative portion. Kids are able to express themselves while being physically active.

Putting Smiles on Childrens Faces

We, as a community, should go out to Children's Hopitals and specifically see those children who have cancer. We should play with them and make them laugh and show them love and kindness because some of those kids are in a lot of pain and want to give up at times. We should encourage them and love them so that they can forget about the pain and the hurt, if only for a moment. We should try and light up there lives again and make them feel special. We should sing with them songs of encouragement and dance and play board games, cards, or make up games with them.

The Marchin' White Tigers Community Drill Team

This group was created on September 11, 2004 by Carlton C.J. Jaushlin at the age of 16. We are a marching and dance drill team working to provide training, discipline, challenges and competition opportunities for under privilege youth in the Wichita area. Our goal is to provide direction to the youth in an effort to keep the out of and away from gangs and gang violence, drugs, and jail. Being apart of the drill team requires that the youth have a C average or above to stay on the team. they also must be team players.

Mary's Movers- Education IS fun

I have and want to continue teaching the academic subjects through dance (and theatre/music). It puts the arts in school, keeps kids moving, helps with LD and ADD students, and is so much fun for all the students as well as myself.

Encore Musical Revue

Encore is a student run/ performed musical revue that is performed as a benefit concert. Students and alumni of the Beaver Dam High school get together in August to put on a concert of songs from Broadway musicals. the concert has been running for 5 years, and has raised over $20,000 for the High school's music and drama programs. As I said this is a student run show. we have no adults helping us whatsoever! Music is arranged and taught by myself. The show director and choreographer oversee dance and stage presence.

Senior Prom

Our high school club is hosting a Senior Prom for senior citizens in our community. The prom would be run like a high school prom for teens, complete with music, dancing, dance contests and prizes, crowning of a prom king and queen, corsages, photos and refreshments. Teens will host, usher and serve. The goal is to provide local senior citizens with a fun evening, connect them with each other and bring them together with teenagers, two segments of the community that otherwise don't have contact.

"Dancing with the Golden Stars"

"Dancing with the Golden Stars" is the only Intergenerational program in our area. It's our spin off of the hit television show, "Dancing with the Stars." Our program has it's differences though. Instead of pairing up with a celebrity, we partner up with senior citizens at the Ingram Senior Center, in Salem, New Hampshire. Our goal is to have fun, learn how to ballroom dance and create a bonding experience with a people that are part of a different genereation. We rehearse every Wednesday from two-thirty to four o'clocke in the afternoon for ten weeks.
