We are trying to raise money for the American Cancer Society, and help to find a cure. Our community is full of people diagnosed with cancer, so by supporting them, we put a smile on their face. All the money is donated to the Cancer Society, and our charity is non-profit. We're hoping this will support cancer research, and that there is a cure found in the near future.

Recycled Fashion's

My communications class was given the task of doing 5 projects that would help others rather than ourselves. My partner and I came up with the idea of doing a documentary on recycled fashions. We plan to compare and contrast clothes that are home-made rather than mass produced, and hopefully make people more aware of problems like sweat shops and just how much they actually waste among other things.

i am doing a school project in Polaris High School's fiber arts class having to do with service. my goal for this project is to get my community of fort collins, colorado and perhaps beyond to buy eco-friendly canvas and other cloth hand bags with catchy earthy phrases to grab the attention of shoppers. along with the bag would be a little pamphlet made of recycled paper giving facts about global warming and recycling to get minds thinking. i dont have the money to by fabric, but it is something i have a great passion for.

This charity will benefit teen homelessness. As a former teen who was homeless, there are not enough intiatives to help them. A lot of times, as teens, we are self-conscious of our clothing, especially when we are homeless, and lose a lot of clothing as we move from place to place. I want to do a fashion show that will showcase clothing made by original designers, and will feature the message that clothing can be cheap, affordable, and accessible to homeless teens.

'Create a Retail Store' is a marketing campaign that I created. I am planning on majoring in fashion marketing and merchandising (business) when I start college so this project is relevant. Retail stores, and many other types of businesses boost the American economy and serve entertainment for many Americans on a regular basis. Many people feel that retail stores are for 'stuck up' people to buy overpriced clothing and accessories, but that is not a fact.

On November 21-23, 2008, Team GOPINK! and thousands of other San Diegans will join the fight against Breast Cancer by walking in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-day, a sixty mile walk, to benefit Breast Cancer Research and Education. Team GOPINK! is a group of women made up my mother, 10+ women, and myself. Each walker has a minimum fundraising goal of $2,200.00 that they must fulfill. Team GOPINK!’s fundraising goal is $30,000.

While on a trip to Argentina last year, Blake had a vision to put shoes on children's feet around the world. To date, TOMS Shoes has given away 10,000 pairs to children in Argentina and is preparing to give 50,000 pairs in South Africa.

A gathering of music, art, fashion, and anything artistic to raise money. The money was for children in Uganda who are experiencing hard time. These children are going through hunger and being abducted to fight in a war that does not concern them.
