Growing up in NC, Chad Bullock is surrounded by empty tobacco warehouses and old tobacco advertisements. He is also constantly surrounded by the deadly smoke from his family member’s lit cigarettes. Chad has always been uneasy by the presence of smoke.
A group of youth noticed that the Durham Bulls Athletic Park allowed cigarette smoking at such as family oriented event. Knowing that smoking causes many illnesses in adults and children we knew something had to be done.

The year 2002 had 57,029,000 recorded deaths. In the United States, 16,137 murders were committed. Keep in mind that this doesn’t include war. However, war creates poverty, displacement, disease, loss, devastation, along with countless other problems. Every life lost is only too real for those experiencing it. You can help. No one’s freedom should cost the freedoms of others.
The Vow is simple: "I vow to never kill anyone." A Vow for People. A Vow for Peace.

Our school is having a Shattered Dreams program where students demonstrate a live mock crash scene. Only Juniors and Seniors are involved. Many different factors go into this; we need lifeflight, access to a hospital, a hirsch, and access to the local jail. This focuses on driving while under the influence, whether it be alcohol or drugs. Our school is located in the same area as is the recognized highest number of meth labs in America. This program has been used in several districts around mine and has soon to be a great success. I hope that you will recognize my need for assistance.

My idea to promote safer driving among teens through a series of posters that can be put up around schools. These posters will provide certain scenarios that are common among teen drivers in today's world, such as talking on your cell phone, texting, eating or drinking, putting on your make-up, etc. while driving. They will basically show the worst case scenario: life vs. death. The idea is that if you do these things while driving, you are putting your life on the line.

The Pledge to Try Veg! Rally started in May 2006 as a bet between friends to see if those who ate meat could last even two days without consuming meat. We have decided to make this an annual event, and to focus more on other aspects to educate others. Vegetarianism is about more than just eating meat, it's a lifestyle choice concerning many hot issues, pollution (factory farms pollute water, air and land); conservation (forests are sometimes cut down to build farms, the land becomes exhausted from constant use.
