Are you one of the students that sit alone at lunch, watching the people eat and talk to there friends? Have you ever wished you had more friends? Are you a shy person? If you have a problem talking to people and making new friends, the Social Inequality project is for you. It is a program that helps students be more social, there are learning classes that help you talk to people better, and help you to get over being shy. And in these classes you may also make new friends for life.

The Culture project is an idea created by a student currently attending La Salle Academy Boys High School in the East Village. The mission of the Culture Project is to help high school students currently attending La Salle and other sister schools in New York City become more culturally exposed to the performing and visual arts. The initiative is a student-run program enacted with the guidance of educators of the art and drama programs at each school.

S.I.F. is a club were students meet every other wednesday, to discuss subjects of fashion. As it may seem as just a hobby club the members discuss the similarities and impact that fashion has on society. Members range from different sex and ethnicity, cutting down on the bounderies "clicks" in school have created. The bounderies include anger or hatred towards race and/or pre-judgement on dress preference. The Club is currently fundraising to hold a fashion show at the end of the school year. The fashion show is made up garments that were created by students at our school.

My project started when my band was rehearsing one evening: As usual, all of my friends came to my warehouse I rented to hear the band play. We called this little haven the "Shed Shed"; It was a safe place for my friends to be after school and a good place to have a jam room. After this particular practice, my friend Alexis asked if I could teach her how to play the drums. I taught her the basics and sure enough, she was a natural. I told her [jokingly] that if she kept up playing like that, she'd end up replacing me in the band. I never had seen her smile that big.
