Blanket our Nursing Home

This is something that the Oakland City-Columbia Township Public Library, Teen Advisory Committee came up with on their own. They had a visit to the local Nursing Home to get recipes for the Friends of the Library cookbook, they notice that alot of the residents used blankets over their laps to keep them warm. But alot of the residents had old, ratted, and torn blankets. They wanted to know if there was something they could do to brighten the residents day. They decided that they wanted to make fleece-tie blankets for them. It is something that we the teens can do by ourselves.
