Study: Condom Use in America By Age

A study in 2010 found that young people are the highest condom users (good for us). While it may seem like that means lots of people are sexually active, the truth is that at any given point in time most young people in America are not sexually active.

• Only 40% of 17-year-old males reported having vaginal intercourse in the past year.
• Only 27% reported having vaginal intercourse in the past three months.
