Host a Live Videostream Boot Camp Party

If you can’t attend the Do Something Boot Camp in person on August 13th, you can still experience the live event by hosting a live stream party at your office, school, community center, or restaurant!

The live videostream is a broadcast that allows you to watch the entire event on the Do Something website. Engage with cutting-edge ideas that are shaping our world, connect with others of like mind, and be part of the larger Do Something community beyond the in-person experience. On Saturday, August 13th, organize a live videostream PARTY with all your friends.

Why should you host a Do Something Boot Camp live stream party?

  1. It’s FREE!
  2. Learn how to start a community action project or grow your existing organization.
  3. Have the chance to learn from and interact with a diverse group of young community leaders, activists and social entrepreneurs!
**If you recruit more than 20 people, answer a survey and send us a photo, you will have a chance at winning a reimbursement of up to $70 of your food and printing costs.

Ready to host your own Do Something Boot Camp Live videostream party?

  1. Sign up using the link below. Once you sign-up we will send you a link to download all materials for the day.
  2. Find a location. All you need is an internet connection and a computer.
  3. Determine how long you want to hold the simulcast. You can watch the entire broadcast or mix your favorite sessions with in-person group activities at the party.
  4. Spread the word. Email, facebook and Twitter are all good ways to get the word out. (Twitter hashtag: #DSCamp)
  5. On the day of the event (Saturday, August 13th), gather to watch the Do Something Boot Camp.
