Google Docs allows users to collaborate in real-time and can be especially helpful if your team isn't all in one place. Multiple users can edit documents simultaneously, and a separate chat allows you to discuss changes and revisions as they are happening. It's a super efficient way to "get together" to brainstorm, without having to actually get together.
Google Docs is perfect for real-time collaboration on grant apps, presentations, school speeches, and any other kind of document that you want group input on. And, it's completely free and available to anyone via the Internet, making it extremely useful to for-cause organizations with tight budgets.
Just go to docs.google.com, start a document, and invite friends.
