The Problem

I want to create a way to make new students at my school feel welcome. This program, support our students, will establish a comforting support system for new students to turn to if they have questions or need a little extra help during the school year.

Plan of Action

I will have 25 seniors at my high school become mentors who are willing to help the new students and we will ensure that new students feel welcome by sitting with them at lunch, introducing them to new people, answering their questions when needed, and giving them welcome kits with our school's information. I will make sure all mentors are perfect for the job and even train the mentors to know how to help students to the best of their abilities.
