Digital Youth Leadership

In our Digital Youth Leadership program we plan to help save the youth in New Haven by introducing them to the digital world. We plan to create workshops that help them understand who they are and the people around them and that the kids can be comfortable with themselves instead of becoming a media or public standard. These workshops will include creative writting, Open disscussions, digital creations, picture taking and an athletic component. We will also do an interactive interview component to help the students identify presentation do's and dont's by showing them clips of themselves and others and how the public will react to the delivery of there different personas. We hope to provide some type of incentive for the students. We have been provided with a location ( King/Robinson school in New HAven CT) but we need a lot of supplies to make our venture enjoyable to the age groups we plan on working with.
