Elder Care Outreach

Maddy has been volunteering at a home for the elderly since she was 12. She observed that people in residential care facilities may often be isolated/marginalized. Maddy started a program to connect older adults with teenagers by training the teens and getting them together with senior citizens to meet weekly and provide companionship, collect oral histories, and recruit others into the program.
