For the first time ever Woodward Academy is holding a senior project that will benefit the community. All 250 seniors in the class of 2008 are coming together to help our neighbors at an elementary school. Ninety- five percent of the students at the elementary school fall below the poverty line. The project is undoubtedly two fold: it builds a brand new playground for an underprivileged elementary school while teacher teens the value of community service. Nothing teaches the importance of philanthropy like hands on service. This will hopefully serve as a lasting legacy of fun for the class of 2008 and the elementary school.
