The Problem

My Fathers fience has an autistic child. As a part of his therapy he is incouraged to create art. His way to do this is to paint personal and abstract images using acrylic paint. He is very good at this and has painted about 40 images with different titles the way he sees the world. I would use these funds to do three things. One, purchase nice frames for these pictures. Two,start a website selling these paintings, Drive to regional art galleries, municipalities, school, etc. to ask permission to display his art work. These are things his my mother and his fience cannot do because of lack of funds. If this is a success I plan to seek out other disabled people to display and sell their creations on the website. For which most of the sales would go back to the families. Raising a person with disabilities is much more costly and time consumming. This is a great idea for the people with disabilities community. It not only is a way to express themselfs through art, crafts, or creations but a way to subsidise the families to aid in the high cost of raising them.
