The purpose of this project is to balance out the living conditions of the city of Evanston, Illinois. The city is largely divided into wealthy, upperclass citizens with large houses, and lowerclass residents that live in a different section of the city that have poorer living conditions. I thought that the best way to redistribute the wealth is to start a fitness club in the rich section of Evanston, while transferring 90% of the profits of membership for the lowerclass section. This is an example of commercial social entrepreneurship - I use the willingness of the rich to pay a little extra for a quality fitness membership to transfer the profits to poorer areas of Evanston. The other 10% is used to improve the quality of the gym, such as buying new machines, reconstruction, as well as accounting for employees wages.
