In the fall of 2006 i was selected to act as one of the high school leaders at Camp Guest wood. This opportunity sent myself and my fellow leaders to a small camp along with the grade school students from a rougher part of town. We spent 3 days and 2 nights running activities, lessons and drills with the students. We also acted as their cabin leaders, enforcing respect and good communication with your roommates. These students each came from difficult family situations. It was our job as their leaders to act as an example and teach them the value of respect for your classmates.
