Racial Harmony is an overnight seminar in which the participants and the facilitators discuss issues of racism and discrimination that effect our community. The participants do mini projects that bring to light the racist connotations in our society that may go unnoticed but are extremely prevalent. This project is fairly expensive because 60+ students will attend a two day sleep over seminar at Santa Monica High School. We need to pay for food, substitute teachers for the teachers who participate, supplies (paper, notebooks, poster boards, etc.), facilitator trainers, etc.
