I would like to create a mile long life size paper doll exhibit to educate others about the prevalence and seriousness of childhood sexual abuse. Each paper doll would be created by or for a childhood survivor of sexual abuse. Each paper doll would include a description of the abuse and the offender. This paper doll display would give victims a voice when many of them have been silenced by the abuse. I would like to travel with this display in and around the United States, to share these survivors' stories and educate about childhood sexual abuse. In order to protect our nation's children we need to talk about the issues at hand, eliminate the silence, and empower survivors.
