The Youth Summit "Ecological Day of Justice" will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2008. The purpose of the event is to preserve our most vital natural resources and bring awareness of becoming ecologically active to the African American Community. The youth will collect coins to donate towards purchasing water wells for the drought in Kenya. There will be an Eco-village for youth 11 and under and a Teen Summit for ages 12 to 17. Funds raised will go towards purchasing wells for the water drought in Kenya. There will also be a Step Show. 400 youth are expected to attend.
