My research project was initially to find an economically appealing way to recycle these biproducts formed by fast food restaurants. but, seeing as I am a high school junior, I realized that it woudl be nearly impossible to find the resources to carry out my research. And so, acting like a professional inventor, I searched to see if anyone had in fact found out a way to solve this problem, perhaps out of the U.S.. I found that in Taiwan, there is in fact a law enforced at least 600 restaurants where they have four bins that customers must put there food in accordingy, or suffer a fine. The four categories are: leftovers, liquid waste, recyclables, and regular waste. I am currently attempting to find a contact in Taiwan to help me gather more information about this law, so that I may boil down the main objectives for my proposal/bill.
