Chris Brown gets plea deal

Chris Brown's lawyer said a plea deal has been reached in the singer's felony assault case.

Brown's alleged victim, Rihanna, was on standby to testify on Monday but was spared having to do so by the deal which includes five years of supervised probation and six months of community labor. In exchange, Brown is pleading to felony assault.

Boy with Tourette's fights bullying

Eight-year-old Jaylen Arnold, who's been living with with uncontrollable ticcing due to Tourette's Syndrome since the age of 3, is using the Internet to launch an anti-bullying campaign and bring attention to his neurological condition.

Tourette's is a mysterious disorder that causes involuntary movements or speech – or both, in cases of complex Tourette’s, which Jaylen has.

As Jaylen puts it, “You control your body, but I don’t control mine.”


Teens charged in videotaped attack

Five teenage girls from Chicago suburbs are facing a slew of charges, two are being charged as adults, in connection with an alleged attack on a girl that was caught on video and aired on television.

Officials say that the June 2 incident stemmed from an "ongoing" problem involving the “misuse” of a car that belongs to one of the attackers.

The 17-year-old victim was held down and beaten while she was cut, burned and pummeled.
