Jake Gyllenhaal stands up to cancer

Jake Gyllenhaal believes in miracles. In this new public service announcement, the Prince of Persia star has teamed up with Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) and Major League Baseball (MLB) to fight cancer and "make cancer history."

SU2C brings people together in support of finding a cure for cancer and raising funds for cancer research. The organization has teamed up with the MLB to help accomplish this goal. And in this PSA, Jake compares winning a baseball game to beating cancer. He believes that when people work together, miracles can happen.

On September 10, SU2C will air a television event from Los Angeles of their fundraising special on FOX, ABC, CBS, and NBC. Anchors Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer, and Brian Williams will host the telecast, which will focus on remembering those taken by cancer, as well as those surviving and living with cancer.

Join Jake and the rest of the SU2C team now. Find out how you can raise awareness about cancer and help a friend suffering from cancer.
