Obama's Acceptance Speech at the DNC!

Barack Obama accepted the Democratic Party's presidential nomination last night in Denver at the Democratic National Convention.

He broke from tradition by giving his acceptance speech in front of 80,000 people in a football stadium, not just to the delegates. He continued his message of change in this country and called out President Bush for what he describes as his "failed Presidency" and says it's time for the Republicans "to own their failure." He bashed John McCain's policies saying "it's not because John McCain doesn't care, it's because John McCain doesn't get it."

If you didn't watch it live, you can check out the entire speech below - jump to the 3:30 mark to skip the cheering (yes, there's that much cheering).

I think the speech can be summed up by this quote: “America, we are better than these last eight years. We are a better country than this.”

So what did you think of the speech???
