Step 1: Know It
Almost 1 in 4 students reports being bullied at school.1
More than one-half the time, bullying stops within 10 seconds of a bystander stepping in to help. 2
You'll play as a bystander with the chance to make a difference in this multiplayer choose-your-own-adventure game.
S’mores, campfires, wrestling team championships, oh my! Sounds like summer camp to us. Navigate your way through camp with your friends and fave WWE superstars, earning badges and maybe even the championship title!
What is The Bully Text?
The Bully Text is an interactive anti-bullying game you play on your phone via text message. You'll go through a day at school and make decisions based on the interactions you have with characters in the game. Your goal is to make it to the end of the day and earn a "most likely to..." yearbook superlative.
Do I have to play with friends?
We're super excited to introduce a multiplayer version of The Bully Text! To play, you'll need to invite three friends to join in the Do It section. You’ll need your friends to participate with you in all six levels of the game in order to finish.
What's a "Superstar"?
A WWE Superstar is a performer at WWE, the global entertainment company. We're working with WWE Superstar Sheamus in this version of The Bully Text, who's playing your best friend in the game. You'll also encounter other WWE Superstars throughout the game.
What if I'm not a WWE fan?
Don't worry, there won't be a WWE Superstar quiz! You don't need to be a WWE fan to play or win the game.
What's Be A STAR?
Be A STAR, which partnered with DoSomething.org on The Bully Text, is an anti-bullying initiative co-founded in 2011 by The Creative Coalition and WWE. Its mission is to encourage young people to treat each other with tolerance and respect through education and grassroots initiatives. For more information, click here.
