723,188 jeans donated
This campaign is over! In case you missed it, here’s what happened.
Over a million young people experience homelessness in the US every year. One item they often request? A pair of jeans. Members in over 13,000 schools ran gently used jeans drives and dropped the jeans at their local Aéropostale store. Store employees then delivered the jeans to a nearby charity or homeless shelter. Over the past seven years, Teens for Jeans has collected 5 million pairs of jeans for young in need.
Thanks to everyone, specifically these members who collected jeans like champs!

"People throughout my community, school, and neighborhood have gone to great lengths to support me and help me far surpass my goal. Being a senior, I couldn't have imagined a better way to connect with my peers and the people I love before I head out of state for college. Through this drive I learned the importance of service and the impact that it has on someone. This drive has shaped my way of thinking, taught me a deeper sense of responsibility, and has overall made me a greater adult and citizen. I can't wait to see the impact that my drive makes on the lives that it will be touching. I am so grateful that I had this opportunity and thank DoSomething.org for giving me a reason to serve others."

"This campaign is important to me because it made me realize that there are a lot of people in the world who do not have most of the basic things they need. I felt that if I could just do something to make it better for them, then that would be a great reward."
