Charity organization DoSomething.org has named Lady Gaga No. 1 on its new “Top 20 Celebrities Gone Good” list due to her outstanding work as a gay rights activist in the last year. The pop singer publicly called for the repeal of the US military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy months ago, which was signed by President Obama on December 22. She was also very outspoken in her support of same-sex marriage and raised money towards HIV/AIDS prevention worldwide.
