During this winter season, our teen group organized three coat drives for the residents of the Call for Help Center. We asked our family, friends, schools, churches, and anyone who would listen to donate their new or gently used coats. We received a great number of mens, womens, and childrens coats and even some other winter wear. Still having the children on our minds, we decided that we wanted to make their Christmas holiday special. So, again, we asked our amily, friends, schools, churches, and anyone who would listen to donate toiletries, clothes, toys, and various gifts so that we could provide each person at the Call for Help Center with a Christmas gift. Our teen group spent an evening sorting and wrapping all of the donations so that everyone living at the Call for Help center (men, women, and children) received a Christmas gift. My goal is to now be able to make welcome packets for those people who will be newly arriving at the Call for Help center. We would like to provide them with the things they'll need to get started like toiletries, blankets, and such. We hope to be a blessing to them in their time of need and uncertainty.
