We first prepared a powerpoint presentation. Then we went to the principal and got her approval. Then we had to go to the Building Leadership Team and get their approval. When they said it was okay we then presented it to the staff at their staff meeting and went to each of the 44 class advisories to market it. We put boxes in each class advisory and kept track of donations. The principal donated a pizza party to the class that donated the most. Our school donated 1,100 items to the West Seattle Food Bank. Our food drive lasted three weeks and we delivered out food the week before Thanksgiving.
