Women and Youth Supporting Each Other - National Leadership Training Conference

Official Dosomething.org Project

The Problem

WYSE (Women and Youth Supporting Each Other) is a mentoring program that pairs college-age women with middle school-age girls for one-on-one mentoring relationships and curriculum-based mentoring, covering a range of topics from future options to reproductive health to body image and nutrition. Please see www.wyse.org. This summer, I am organizing a conference for the directors of the fourteen branches of WYSE using primarily in-kind donations. At the conference, we will build WYSE into a national movement, get trained on issues related to our mentees and our branches, and develop leadership skills.
