Problem

Because of things like online shopping and home delivery, solid waste production has increased. And yet, recycling rates have decreased.

Solution

Recycling cuts down on the amount of waste that ends up in landfills, and making a can from recycled aluminum saves more than 90% of the energy required to make a new can. That’s why DoSomething members have recycled over 2.6 million cans.
