What You Did

This campaign is over! In case you missed it, here’s what happened.

Americans only recycle half of the aluminum cans we use. The rest ends up in landfills or, worse, as litter in nature. But aluminum is so durable, you can recycle it over and over and over. Recyclers can even turn an old can into a new can in only 60 days. Members channeled their environmentalism and creativity and kept hundreds of thousands of aluminum cans out of landfills!

We're counting up how many cans you all collected and will announce a scholarship winner soon.

Thanks to everyone, specifically these members who CRUSHED their can drives.

Scholarship Winner

Jadin recycled a whopping 420,000 cans and won a $5,000 scholarship for college. Way to go! Here's what she had to say:

"It is important to recycle not only to improve our environment, but also to make things easier on everyone. If we reuse aluminum that means not as many resources need to go into finding more of it."
