The Problem

In 47 out of 50 states, American police officers have killed at least one person so far this year.

The Solution

Police are NOT required by the federal government to share data on police violence. This means we have no accurate idea how many people are victims of police brutality every year. The estimates we do have from voluntary police reporting are likely very low.

Use our chart below to share the stories of people who have been killed by the police in your state this past year. Tell the Department of Justice and Attorney General Loretta Lynch to mandate police reporting nationally. We have the right to know.
