DoSomething.org Scholarships recognize everyday teens who are taking action and making a difference in their community—and catapult them into lifelong civic leaders. Most scholarship programs focus on the best students, or the all-star athletes, we recognize and reward the teens who are social action leaders in their community.
eMission Scholarships
Saving the environment and hanging out on Facebook has never been more fun! eMission is a game that allows you to be in control of your own beach. Keep it clean, see how many animals you can raise, take on special environment missions to reduce your carbon footprint. Earn points, get rewards, play with friends and help save the environment!
Need another reason to play? DoSomething is offering $1,500 in scholarships to eMission players if you complete 3 offline missions from the game.

Are you one of the nation’s best young world-changers? Do Something Award nominees and winners represent the pivotal "do-ers" in their field, cause, or issue. In 2012 (up to) five finalists will be rewarded with a $10,000 community grant, media coverage and continued support from DoSomething.org. The grand prize winner will receive $100,000 during the nationally televised broadcast.

Recycling Matters. Help pass it on. The average person throws out four pounds of trash per day. That’s a lot of wasted opportunity. Empty bottles can become new bottles. Cans can become more cans. You get the idea.
DoSomething.org and Nestlé Waters North America are saying “Don’t Be Trashy”, recycle instead! Teens share stats on recycling and inspire their friends to take action. Every teen that shares a stat and completes a project is entered for a chance to win free movie tickets and college scholarships.
